For decades, Bell Canada has taken advantage of employees’ hard work and loyalty. Bargaining unit work has been snatched away through non-union outsourcing, contracting out, and job erosion across Bell units. All the while, our employer has imposed working conditions that members say increase stress and affects their mental health.
Most recently, Bell Canada threatened the future of good telecommunications jobs through the complete outsourcing of the new Wireless to the Home program for rural Canadians while laying off technicians for the first time in the company’s history.
